This would be a wallpaper candidate ("for example" 1680x1050 pixels).

If Fr0st your work?

I'm not really comfortable with uploading such large versions to the web, and I really hate watermarks xD

Yes, fr0st if my work ;-p

Nice!
How does Fr0st differ from apophysis?

Well, that's a hard to answer question without going into too much detail. First off, fr0st uses flam3 for rendering. This means it has density estimation and lots of other refinements that results in better image quality. You can also use flam4 for faster rendering with GPU.

The GUI is also a lot nicer, IMHO of course (I'm the creator and admittedly biased xD). If you're curious, you should just try it out. I'd love to get some feedback.

I've finally gotten around to downloading the program (3 days ago I was on vacation, using someone else' computer) and am doing some test renders with some of the .flame files I have. I do like the gui a bit more then apophysis, especially with just having the small preview. It really opens up the screen real estate for manipulating the transforms.

I havent changed any of the estimator settings yet, or the filter kernel. Those are new settings to me that I'll start playing with in later fractals.

So far I'd say good job though! While the gui is different I didnt have any trouble finding anything.

I'll definitely give it a shot. I'm always interested in different ways to render fractals.
